Tips for a Restful Night

Pregnancy insomnia? Aches and pains as your body changes? Spent forever getting your kids to sleep? Up and down feeding your newborn?

Sleep deprivation is one of the biggest challenges for many parents (and parents to be), so we asked our team of mums for their top tips to help you maximise rest.

Keira's Tip: Screen Time

A regular sleep schedule is almost impossible with little ones, but I try to limit screen time wherever possible after bath time for both the kids and myself. This helps us all to wind down for bed and reduce overstimulation.

Ally's Tip: Nightly Self-Care

I'm currently pregnant and having a bath each night to ease the aches as my pregnancy progresses. I pop on some relaxing tunes and take the time to connect with my body and my bubba. I follow this with the Muscle Relief Roll On to finish my nightly ritual.

Lauren's Tip: 10 Minute House Reset

Spending time tidying when you're exhausted seems like a silly idea right? In actual fact, ticking a few tasks off your mental to-do list will help to clear some of those thoughts from racing around your mind once you lay down. Relax knowing you’re waking to a tidy house.

Connie's Tip: Magnesium Sleep Drink

Invest in an eye mask. I find the comfort of the eye mask relaxes me, and having no light touch my eyes makes me sleep so much better. I also take a magnesium sleep drink every night and sleep with an amethyst crystal beside my bed which promotes a restful nights sleep.
