Collagen Magnesium Hot Chocolate Dot cake

Our take on the viral Dot Cake.Made with Magnesium Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Collagen Peptides for the most satisfying after-dinner treat.

Ingredients

•250ml (1 cup) milk

• 2 scoops chocolate collagen peptides

•1 tbsp oil

• 2 eggs

•1¾ cups self raising flour

•1 tsp bicarb soda

•1 heaped tbsp Magnesium Hot Chocolate

•1 tbsp cacao powder

• 2 large ripe bananas


For the frosting

• 2 large ripe bananas

• 1 heaped tbsp Magnesium Hot Chocolate



Method

1. Preheat your oven to 170°C and line a baking pan with baking paper.

2. In a jug, whisk together the milk and collagen peptides until smooth. Add the eggs and oil and mix until well combined.

3. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, bicarb soda, Magnesium Hot Chocolate and cacao powder.

4. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour in the milk mixture. Stir gently until just combined and no dry flour remains.

5. Pour into your prepared baking pan and bake for 20 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.

6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before assembling.

7. To make the frosting, blend the bananas and Magnesium Hot Chocolate together until smooth and creamy.

8. To serve, use your cup or glass to cut rounds from the cake. Layer the cake rounds with the banana frosting, finishing with a final swirl of frosting on top. Add sprinkles and enjoy
