Slow Cooker Pulled Lamb Gyros

Ingredients
Lamb

1.5kg lamb shoulder or lamb leg

1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 brown onion, sliced
-
4 garlic cloves, crushed
-
2 tsp dried oregano
-
1 tsp paprika
-
1 tsp ground cumin
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
Zest + juice of 1 lemon
-
1 tbsp tomato paste
-
1 tablespoon Krumbled Bone Broth
-
1/2 cup boiling water
-
Salt + cracked pepper
To Serve - Adults

To Serve - Kids

Method
-
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.

Season lamb generously with salt and pepper and sear for 2-3 minutes each side until golden brown.

Add Bone Broth to the bottom of the slow cooker and add boiling water.

Add garlic, onion, carrots, lemon zest, celery and tomato paste to the slow cooker.

Place lamb on top

Pour dried herb mixture over lamb and squeeze over lemon.

Cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 5-6 hours until lamb is falling apart.

Shred lamb in slow cooker using two forks. Toss through cooking juices.
To Serve - Adult Gyros Wraps
Layer wraps with:
