Chewy, naturally sweet, and packed with fruity flavour, these Hydramama fruit roll ups make a fun and nourishing snack for all ages. A wholesome no added sugar treat that feels just as nostalgic as it is good for you.
You Will Need:
• 3 cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen – strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
• 2 sachets Hydramama (any flavour you like)
• 2-3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness of fruit)
• 1 tsp lemon juice
How To Make It:
- Set oven to 80°C (fan-forced) or the lowest setting (a dehydrator also works). Line a large baking tray with baking paper or a silicone mat.
- Add berries, Hydramama powder, sweetener, and lemon juice to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
- For a smoother roll-up, strain mixture through a sieve to remove seeds.
- Pour onto lined tray and spread evenly into a thin layer (about 3–4mm thick).
- Place in oven for 3–4 hours, or until the mixture is tacky but not wet. It should peel away from the paper without breaking.
- Let cool completely. Cut into strips with scissors, then roll them up in parchment paper.
